100 things about me
1. My name is Jorunn Elise Kringstad, maiden name Bjerke. I used to hate Jorunn, and insisted that people used both my names. Now I kind of like it.
2. My name was Jorunn Elise Slaaen for the first 6 months of my life.
3. My birthday is January 4, 1982.
4. My sign is Capricorn, but I don’t believe in astrology.
5. I was born and raised in Røros, Norway.
6. I don’t speak much dialect, but it depends on who I’m talking to.
7. I love animals, and I had a standard poodle named Tina. My mother didn’t have the time to take care of her, and gave her away. It’s very sad.
8. I have had about 10 cats (counting kittens), most of them died suddenly. One is still alive (was given to a neighbour, because of my brother’s asthma).
9. I have also had a guinea pig (was given away because of my allergies).
10. I am extremely allergic to grass and horses, and have quite a lot of minor allergies.
11. I have migraines.
12. I apparently have an IQ over 155 (Mensa-test).
13. I have a husband, Anders, whom I love.
14. We live in Trondheim.
15. I have a brother, named Joakim, who is Nordic power lifting champion.
16. I have never exercised (at least not willingly) regularly until recently.
17. I remember three of my great-grandparents. They died at 96, 93 and 100 years old, and my great grandfather’s sister died at 103.
18. I am looking for a full-time job.
19. My grandmother (my mom’s mom) died at 57 from myelomatosis, a  cancer in plasma cells.
20. I am messy.
21. I love my laptop, it is called Pinky. It is pink.
22. I’m addicted to the Internet.
23. I believe in the theory behind anarchy (but have to admit that it probably doesn’t work).
24. I’m liberal, and love to discuss politics with people who agree with me. I sometimes want to strangle people who don’t.
25. I am atheist, and I am a member of Human-Etisk Forbund.
26. My mother is an enrolled nurse.
27. My father is a dentist.
28. I drink beer, and I drink cider.
29. I hate whiskey and cognac. I like alcohol that tastes like candy.
30. In addition to Norwegian, I speak English quite fluently, I speak some French, a bit of German, and very little Spanish.

32. I’m very good at Norwegian spelling.
33. I love to sing, but I can’t sing.
34. I hate to dance, because I can’t dance.

36. My favorite soda is Solo right now, and the only cola I like is real Coca-Cola (I hate diet, Pepsi and so on.)
37. I don’t drink much soda, I drink Bris (or other sparkling water, preferably with taste), juice, smoothies and milk.
38. I don’t know what I want to do with my life.
39. My washing machine eats socks.
40. I am 1,63 m tall. Or low.
41. I wear a size 35-36 shoe. I often have problems finding shoes that are small enough.
42. I hate smoking, but have tried two times, I think. I was drunk at the time.
43. I often forget things.

45. I have an almost photographic memory of glossary.
46. I’m always looking for my purse, keys, cell-phone etc.
47. I have an anxiety disorder (I’ve had strong social anxiety, I can’t speak in public, and I hate places with to many people) and I am getting treatment for it.
48. My parents divorced when I was 12.
49. I don’t make my bed.
50. I use too much money on my hair, but I used probably three times more a couple of years ago.
51. I have too many shoes, purses and clothes. Which don’t fit.
52. I want to have more money, to buy CD’s, DVD’s and books.

54. My favorite flower is the tulip. I also like roses, daisies, lilies and all other flowers.
55. I love the smell of citrus, fruits and vanilla.
56. I watch too much TV. I love Veronica Mars, Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy.
57. I love books.
58. I read way too much when I was younger.
59. My favorite books are the Harry Potter books.
60. I love comics. I read Donald Duck (especially Don Rosa), Pondus, Nemi, Gary Larson, Calvin and Hobbes, Foxtrot and For Better or For Worse.

65. My hair is originally dark blonde. I have dyed it for years, I think my natural color is boring. It is now striped blonder.
66. I got my ears pierced when I was 9 (almost 10). I remember the date, December 17.
67. I am light sleeper, and have had periods of insomnia for many years.
68. I’ve had my heart broken twice. I’m over it.
69. I don’t have a driver’s license.

71. I’ve been to 19 countries. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Estonia, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Malta, England,Turkey, USA, Mexico, Chile and Latvia.

73. I have been out when it was between -40 and -45 °C outside.
74. When I was born it was so cold I had to be put in an incubator.
75. The nurses at the hospital recognized my voice when I was screaming, it was louder than any of the other babies’.
76. I was a scout for about 10 years.

79. I am very open minded and tolerant.

81. I worked as a volunteer in ITK (the it-committee) at Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem (the student society in Trondheim), now I just participate in the social stuff.
82. I love going to the movies. Especially to see horror movies.
83. I didn’t play with dolls when I was younger. Most of my friends were boys until I started school. Well, actually they are now also.
84. I used to collect stuffed animals.
85. I get bruised very easily.
86. I also get scars easily.
87. I played the piano when I was younger. I wasn’t good at it.
88. I hate the sound of knives scratching plates.
89. I am very bad at decision making.
90. I used to be very near-sighted, but I got laser-surgery. I wore glasses for 15 years. Now I have to wear contacs again, my sight is about – 1,5 and -1,25.
91. My night sight is so good my eye doctor said I could be a paratrooper.
92. I hate people staring at me. Especially when I am eating.
93. I don’t like cooking, but I don’t suck at it.
94. I am stubborn.
95. And often too straight forward.

97. I don’t have many friends, but I do have close ones.
98. I swear a lot when I get angry.
99. I don’t take myself seriously. Or other people.
