Terrible proposal
My friend and maid of honor to be, Marit, has been visting since Wednesday, and she left this morning. Last night we all went to se the Kaizers Orchestra concert at Samfundet, and it was very good. But what I wanted to write about was that some guy proposed to his girlfriend on stage.
I’m so happy Anders didn’t propose that way, I just would have had to say no. The guy was very drunk, and was drinking beer right before the proposal. And he didn’t even ask if she wanted to marry him, he just asked if he could give her a ring. She looked totally embarrassed, but of course she had to accept, standing there on stage in front of 1000 drunk people cheering her on. Poor girl, my guess is that their relationship will last less than six more months.

Samfundet
OMG, I hate drunk people when I’m sober. Especially those who doesn’t care about rules, and think they can talk us into letting them into the private areas at Samfundet. “I was a member 10 years ago, and I just want to see how they’re doing now.” is a classic, and as usual the person also tries to get in with alcohol. And there is about hundred people every night who doesn’t even know what the private areas are, and just tries to sneak in to see. And there are endless discussions with people who forgot their card at home, or upstairs, or who comes after 12 and wants to bring someone in, even though they know they’re not allowed. Well, at least this is the last time I sit here, I will be retired after new year.
A night out
Yesterday we had dinner with ITK, and then we went to the Ralph Myerz concert at Samfundet. I got pretty drunk, and managed to stumble and fall in the middle of Storsalen. My knees are completely blue. Other than that, it was a very fun evening.
Today Anders is in Oslo, and has managed to be elected leader of FRISK (Fri programvare i skolen or “free software in the schools”). I’m not very happy about that, since his spare time is already quite limited.
Sick as usual
I feel I don’t write enough here now, I have been quite busy lately. But now I am sick
. Anders and the rest of ITK is on a cabin in Melhus, and I couldn’t go with them. So I’m sitting inside watching TV and eating chicken wings. Anders promised that he would make someone come and get me if I am well enough tomorrow, though. So I’m still hoping.
Sick
Anders is out partying at Samfundet, and I’m home alone, feeling sorry for myself. I have a head ache, fever and I’m coughing. And I really wanted to go out today, there is a concert with We and Ralph Myerz and the Jack Herren Band. And there is also the annual beach party, where one of the gangs puts 8 ton of sand in their bar. At least I’ll be well before next weekend, when Madrugada and Lisa Ekdahl have concerts.
Svada update
This weekend we were at a dinner at Samfundet for all the technical gangs. That meant I finally had the chance to wear the dress I bought in Chile. We started drinking at about 5, so Anders was tired about 0.30. I could have stayed a couple hours longer, but I went with him.
Sunday was quite uneventful, we both had stomach problems, it seems something must have been wrong with the food we ate the day before. We did however finally manage to go see the March of the Penguins (eventhough Anders had to run out for a while), and it was a very good movie. I think it was a bit sad though, there was too much focus on penguins that didn’t make it, at least for my taste. I have never liked to see the harsh reality of life in nature documentaries, they always make me cry.
Update
I haven’t been posting much lately, I guess there isn’t much going on at the moment. Except that isn’t quite true. I was at consert last week, UKA trippelkonserten, with Ralph Myerz, Kaizers Orchestra and Dandy Warhols. It was great, but sadly Dandy Warhols didn’t play “We Used to be Friends”. This was the only consert we got tickets to under UKA, except Wyclef, which I’m not really looking forward to, we didn’t have time to get any more because of the trip to Spain. Afterwards, I was so tired I just went home, while Anders went to Samfundet to party. He came home quite drunk, and tried to sleep on top of me the rest of the night. He has gotten into that habit lately, we really need a bigger bed soon.
This weekend it was H-helg in Samfundet, and ITK had a big dinner with all the “pangs” (heh). Anders and Thomas made dinner, and it was very good. They thought 6,5 K lamb would be sufficient for 22 people, but I don’t think they have made enough food for ITK yet. After dinner, we all went to Samfundet, took pictures in Rundhallen and the server room, and drank some beer in FG. Anders and I went home quite early, we were both very tired.
Anyway, today is the day before Anders and I have been together for a whole year. We will celebrate tomorrow, but how were doing it, will remain a secret for now. (I don’t know half of it myself.)

Samfundet
I have been at the student society (Studentersamfundet) for more than 9 hours, and its now only 20 mintes left. My head hurts, and it’s boring to sit and guard a door for so long, but it’s ok. Tomorrow our new members in the IT-committee will be “drunken in” (or whatever). I think that will be fun. But now I just want to go home and jump into bed. I miss Anders. This will be my first night alone, after we moved in together.
